Village Pilote is an Afro-European association which, since 1994, has been defending children's rights and giving them the keys to assert them. Their founding commitment is to make today's children and young people, particularly the most vulnerable in the North and South, citizens of a world of solidarity. In Senegal, their goal is to have no more children on the street.
September marks the start of a new school year for many, but for many children in sub-Saharan Africa, school remains out of reach. According to UNESCO, more than 40% of the world's out-of-school children live in this part of the continent.
Village Pilote is working to help street children in Senegal regain their place in society, whether through reintegration into school or the workplace.
This autumn, every gesture counts. Thanks to your loyalty, essential school kits and the equipment needed to get young people back to work have been donated.
